What material is AIRLUGG made of?
AIRLUGG is made of high-quality, waterproof Oxford material, which is highly resistant to abrasion and intensive use.
The vacuum chamber elements are additionally reinforced with a special polyester coating that combines flexibility with durability.
How does the vacuum chamber in the AIRLUGG backpack work?
Using the vacuum chamber is very simple:
- Place clothes or other items into the vacuum chamber.
- Close the zipper tightly.
- Use the included hand pump to suck out the air.
This reduces the volume of the contents by up to 50% and gives you more space in your backpack.
Is it normal for the vacuum chamber slider to be difficult to move?
Yes, this is completely normal. The vacuum chamber slider may feel stiff, especially during the first few uses.
The vacuum chamber is designed for maximum airtightness. A special, reinforced zipper maintains the vacuum and prevents air from being drawn in. This ensures the chamber remains airtight for a long time and effectively performs its function.
Over time, after several uses, the zipper will work more smoothly, but it may still require a bit more force than standard zippers - this is a natural feature of this solution, not a product defect.
Do I need electricity or batteries for the vacuum chamber?
For air extraction, we recommend using a pump that charges via USB-C. The pump is small, lightweight, and perfect for travel—it easily fits in a backpack. Once charged, the pump requires no batteries or constant power.
Alternatively, the air from the vacuum chamber can also be sucked out with a regular vacuum cleaner.
How large a laptop will fit in the AIRLUGG backpack?
A dedicated, reinforced laptop compartment holds devices up to 16 inches, as well as a tablet or documents. The compartment is designed to protect your device from shocks.
Is the backpack waterproof?
Yes. AIRLUGG features waterproof fabric and waterproof zippers that effectively protect contents from rain and moisture.
